Good Neighbors

Good Neighbors is an international humanitarian development non-governmental organization in General Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), and one of the largest in South Korea. Established in 1991. It has fundraising offices in the USA, Korea and Japan, and an International Cooperation Office in Geneva.

To make the world a place without hunger, where people live toghther in harmony, we work in 40 countries with our focus on community development to protect children's rights and encourage the self-reliance of communities.

Mission

Good Neighbors exists to make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony.

Good Neighbors respects the human rights of our neighbors suffering from poverty, cisasters, oppression, and helps them to achieve self-reliance ant enable them to rebuiic their hope.

We work in any place where there is a need, regardless of race, religion, ideology, and beyond geographical constraints.

We promote self-reliance and the sustainable development of individuals, families and communities.

We place a top priority on the rights of children.

We create sound global citizenship that encourages people to respect one another and live together in harmony.

We work in cooperation with our local partners who share our community development goals.

We maintain professional accountability and transparency by reporting to our donors on the status of projects and finances.

I would like to express my thanks for your kind and valuable supports.

Good Neighbors sincerely want to share our works and efforts with you through this website.

Good Neighbors Myanmar has been supporting children and communities in Myanmar since 2006 in partnership with global networks of Good Neighbors in 35 countries.

Good Neighbors strive to create sustainable change for our children and vulnerable neighbors through child protection, empowering communities, education, health, income generation and other humanitarian and development works.

Accomplishing the mission and core values of Good Neighbors, I and my trustworthy colleagues of Good Neighbors Myanmar will do our best to make good changes across all Myanmar and the world.
