As of Neighbors international and ACCESS TO HEALTH FUND have donated coronavirus PCR detection kits and viral transport medium kits to Myanmar for COVID-19 pandemic
As of April 2nd, there are 644 people under investigation, Myanmar has confirmed 20 cases.
Considering Myanmar will increase in confirmed cases, the Myanmar government keeps on the highest alert.
Now , Good Neighbors International and ACCESS TO HEALTH FUND are in the process of purchasing 153 PCR detection kits for 14,688 reactions and 10,000 viral transport medium kits for National Health Laboratory ( NHL)
On 3rd April 2020, the Good Neighbors and ACCESS TO HEALTH FUND handed 53 PCR detection kits for 5,088 reactions and 10,000 viral transport medium kits to National Health Laboratory (NHL) .
In addition, additional PCR detection kits and necessary support will be provided sequentially. We expect to contribute to strengthening the capabilities of inspections and prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Myanmar .
